Castle Rock "This Place Matters"

The appeal for many residents in Castle Rock is the sense of history and ambiance of the downtown buildings and sites.
Old has been successfully combined with planned development standards to address evolving community needs
and convey the pride of ownership of our residents.
In preparation for Historic Preservation Month in May,
the town’s Historic Preservation Board, Historical Society,
with support of the town of Castle Rock and Douglas County History Research Center, are working on a public campaign to identify a Castle Rock entry for the anticipated National Trust for Historic Preservation “This Place Matters” annual contest.
